Antibacterial Cream application can be done three to four times in a day. If the cream is wiped out then it can be reapplied. Its also a good idea to wash the wound with a mild soap and warm water to remove any dirt from the wound.
Analgesic antiinflammatory syrups like paracetamol can be given @ 15 mg per kg for the relief of pain.
