Brief Answer:
P24 Antigen test is conclusive by 4 weeks after high risk contact.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
Thanks for posting your query.

P24 Antigen detects the the HIV 1 infection as early as 7 days on wards following an infection. But this can be considered more conclusive 4 weeks after the high risk contact to either confirm or rule out HIV 1 infection.

Brief Answer:
both are highly reliable tests

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back.
Both tests are highly reliable. Both will rule out or confirm HIV 1 infection by 4 weeks after the high risk contact. 4th generation COMBO test will be 100% conclusive for both HIV 1and 2 infections by the completion of 12 weeks.
