How Risky Is Anal Sex?

Question: I am a XXXXXXX man and have not had anal sex in 5 yrs. I am looking to change things and I was wondering if there is a limit to what length penis I should have sex with. I am thinking 8-10, but I have someone who is a 13 that wants to have sex with me. I am afraid that that size could cause a tear in my bowel.

Anal canal is 3-5 cm long and rectum is 12-18 cm.So 8 cm or 13 cm would not make much difference.
However anal sex is always risky. Mucosa (internal wall of smooth muscles) of anal canal and rectum is very soft and during sex chances are there that it can be damaged.

If your past experience of anal sex was without any problem 13 cm would not cause problem.

Use condom for safe sex and use water based jelly for enough lubrication.
