How Risky Is Knee Replacement Surgery While Having Stage-4 Primary Biliary Cirrhosis?
Question: Male 75 with Primary biliary cirrhosis stage 4 "auto immune disease" not ALCOHOL. I hads a mild stroke 2
years ago. I am on Coumadin. Cardiologist ok for surgery. I know people are different but can you give me a
rough idea what % have compliceations. Most importantly what is the risk of DEATH % . I know that healthy people . have a 1% risk of death. I am considering having a total knee operation. I do not want to risk dying
to be able to walk better.
