How Should A Large Deep Wound Be Dressed?
Question: I HAVE A WOUND THAT WAS LARGE WITH DEPTH. IT IS NOW AT SURFACE LEVEL. WHAT IS THE BEST DRESSING TO COMPLETE HEALING AND BRING BACK SKIN COLOR WITHIN A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME?

2. Additionally nutritional improvement with protein rich diet along with Vitamin C and zinc supplements to improve healing, will be beneficial.
3. Not sure of site or associated chronic conditions, if over joints, avoid excessive mobility. If associated diabetes, need complete blood sugar control.
4. It might take longer because of age, maintain sterile conditions to avoid risk of infection. Improve nutrition, particularly vitamin C supplements and protein. Check hemoglobin levels and try to maintain within normal range.
