Yes, Thank you...I have diabetis with insulin and metformin 1000 mg..I have 2 open wounds on each foot...Would it help for the healing to get a anti-biotic I am using Santyl on them now...Do you suggest anything else...Ive had these wounds for about 6 months..Only one on each foot ...1 on the heel [pressure wound] and 1 on my little toe on the left foot...I went to a podiatris and all he done was debree it for 4 weeks...I quit going...Thank you for your help Latricia Crews

You must consult a diabetologist as early as possible and treatment required is.. Proper control of blood sugar levels,blood pressure and blood cholesterol. Proper wound care which involves debridement,use of antibiotics and dressings Management of peripheral artery disease with possible by pass surgery. Don't waste time and go to hospital urgently.
