How Soon After Cardiac Ablation Can One Resume Physical Activities?
Ramipril once per day (2.5mg tablets)and apixaban twice a day (5mg tablets). I was also prescribed 30 days of 40mg side-pantprazole to combat potential acid stomach from the ablation procedure. Do I ease in? Go hard? Wait a couple or 3 months? I am now walking 30 to 40 minutes and stretching only. Thankyou

Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
Be it through freezing or burning, ablation means damaging the bypass electrical tract that was leading to the flutter. Once this short circuit is destroyed you are simply back on track and may resume your normal activities without delay, provided that your physical condition permits you to do so. It would be modest to begin the cardio workout a slowly and in a week and gradually intensify the workout. I do not see a problem in easing in. But I would not recommend immediately going hard. I do not see the requirement to wait for 2-3 months. However, you must discuss with your cadiologist and heed to what he recommends.
Let me know if I could help further.
