Hello,
If your cycle is 228-30 days then inoctober it shall again start by 8/9th of october as the bleeding september would become your fresh menstrual date. There are chances that it may be delayed in some cases by a week but not always.

I am a medico hence asking this doubt....will this dose of progesterone effect ovulation in the next cycle? I mean in this cycle because of withdrawal will there b any effect on ovulation in the next cycle? Kindly reply...this is my biggest doubt

Detailed Answer:
Yes there is a probability that your ovulation may be delayed by a few days and so might the days of your withdrawal bleed as well. The next bleed may be heavier and may have clots as well.
This is a known side effect of progesterones. Sometimes it so happens that the next periods are normal and often scanty but the following menses are delayed and heavy. but the hormonal balance is established by 2-3 months completely back to normal. So there is no hard and fixed rule for every woman as you would also know that every patient reacts differently.
Hence i said there are probabilities of delay in next menses and ovulation may too be delayed by 2-3 days, which can be confirmed with the help of ovulation kits like ISURE, in case you are planning for pregnancy in the next cycle.
