How To Avoid Irritable Bowel Syndrome?
Question: Dear Dr.Perigela,
I have suffered from IBS for a long time, combined with anxiety/ panic attacks, and now after my laparoscopic hysterectomy last year May2013, (ovaries have been retained) it has become worse.
My GP has prescribed Normaxin RT which i have now taken for a year, morning and evening. Within days of not taking it, the symptoms of dizziness and feeling very unwell return. I ve realised that the salt - Chlordiazepoxide- in it causes me to feel woozy, dull and dry mouth for a couple of hours. Is there something gentler, that i could take continuously since IBS can only be controlled, and not cured, i ve heard.
Thank you
Regards
