How To Avoid Pregnancy After Having Sex?

Question: Hi, I was having sex with my partner. After the session I had ejaculated and taken off the used condom. After sometime she wanted to have sex again. This time I had put on another condom and had engaged in the intercourse. After the intercourse ( there was no ejaculation this time ) when I was about to take off the condom I noticed that it had ruptured. What are the precautions me and my mate should take in order to avoid pregnancy and STD ?
Brief Answer:
Emergency contraceptive pills
Detailed Answer:
Hello ,
Welcome to healthcare magic.
Since you have not ejaculated, the chances of pregnancy are minimum but exist.
Immediately after the sex, I would suggest your partner to wash vagina with soap and water which will minimize chance of STD as well as pregnancy.
To prevent pregnancy, I advice your partner to take over the counter available emergency contraceptive pills as soon as possible, i.e., within 72 hours of sex. This will help in preventing pregnancy.
I hope your doubt is cleared.
Regards,
Dr.Soumya
