How To Check For Preogression In Pregnancy?

Question: Hi Doctor,
it's been a week since i last spoke with you. Today i am 6 weeks 5 days and go for the ultrasound to see if there is a heartbeat. Blood was taken this morning to see if the levels are still rising. Last week they were at 5,453. my only pregnancy symptoms so far have been sore breasts and mild cramping, some dizziness. Do these symptoms flucuate because they dont always feel the same the last few days, not as strong. could this mean the pregancy is not progressing any further or is this normal. thank you in advance.

These symptoms are not specific to pregnancy and are not reliable. Pregnancy progression is not measured by these.

Hence don't worry about beta hCG values or symptoms from now on.

Ultrasound is best predictor now. Everything is going on well. Stay relaxed.
