Question: My query to Dr XXXXXXX heijebu.. I'm using Tab.Xmet since 2 years. Now I forgot taking the morning dose. Now shall I take 2 tablets after dinner? Need your valuable suggestion. Thank you.
Brief Answer:
It's not advisable to take two pills of Xmet together.
Detailed Answer:
Hello, Madam.
I can certainly understand your concern.
I have worked through your query in detail.
It's not advisable to take 2 take tablets of Xmet simultaneously in case if you have missed the morning dose, since this may lead to rapid fall of blood sugar levels.
It's advisable to take only One pill of Xmet post dinner.
From tomorrow take Xmet twice a day at scheduled frequency and dosage.
Post your further queries if any.
Thank you.

Diet and exercise play an important role.

Strict balanced meal plan is important which includes fruits, fiber rich food, oats.
Engaging in an active lifestyle with sufficient physical activity.
Taking blood glucose-lowering medications as you need them over the years. You might also need other medications to control your blood pressure and lipids (cholesterol).
So diet and lifestyle modification will help in controlling Blood sugar. But you need to use Anti diabetic drugs without fail.
