Brief Answer:
tough decision...

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

missing a dose will increase the risk for clotting. Do you take one or two per day? And how many mg? If you take a low dose (10mg once or twice per day) then taking 10mg more wouldn't probably do any harm - although it can't be excluded. In any other case taking more of the drug would increase the risk of bleeding and taking less would increase the risk of thrombosis.

Please keep in mind that if you take it twice a day, you'll still have anticoagulant activity even if you miss one dose but it will be less protective.

So my recommendation is to take it if you use it a low dose (10mg once or twice daily) and avoid using it if you take more. It would be helpful for you to keep notes of dosages taken in order to avoid similar mistakes. If you have a metallic valve, please contact your doctor.

I hope you find my comments helpful!
