High neutrophils should be viewed along with total leucocyte count or WBC count.
If both WBC and neutrophils are high, it is probably due to bacterial infection.
Treatment and control of infection will decrease the neutrophil count as well as WBC count.
Nothing specific needs to be done for high neutrophil count.
Treatment of underlying disease is required.
