How To Get Relief From Permanent Neck, Arm And Groin Pain?

Question: My wife has an almost permanent neck pain and a pain under her arm and in the groin
Hi,
Thanks for writing to health care magic.
I have a very brief description of her problem and request you to write in detail about her complaint so that I can answer you better.
How long is she having these problems?
Does the problem aggravate over a period of time or it is the same?
Are there any relieving or aggravating factors?
Does she have any swelling in those regions?
Is there any redness or restriction of movement?
Are there any other associated complaints you would like to mention?
Were any investigations including a X XXXXXXX total counts, ESR etc done at any point of time? If so what are the reports?
Is she receiving any medication?
Waiting for your reply.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
The complaints are suggestive of what is called as fibromyalgia.
The exact cause of this particular problem is not known but is associated with stress, emotional disturbance, sleep disturbances, psychological factors, trauma etc are implicated.
I suggest certain life style modifications so that the symptoms improve.
1. Meditation, yoga, breathing exercises, etc will help.
2. Go for a walk. Recreational exercises will be of use.
3. Some times slowing down in life helps. Play with kids.
4. Listen to music, do some gardening work...
5. Prey God.
6. Think positively. Avoid negative thoughts.
7. Give a break and try and do the things you enjoy the most.
I suggest to continue the antidepressant medication given by your doctor.
Hope this helps.
Take care.
