How To Get Rid Of Pimples On Face?
Question: Hello Doctor,
XXXXX here.. i am suffering from acne and pimples. My Doctor has prescribed me Epiduo Gel and after applying that my skin has become dry and red and even burning sensation is there.
After that the doctor has given me Emoderm Cream for mosturising.
So whether this will work. Seeing the reviews I am confused as its wriiten that emoderm shouldn't be applied in pimple prone skin.
Kindly suggest what to do to get rid off pimples and the dryness after applying this epiduo gel.

Hi
I understand your concern regarding your skin problem and I hope I am able to help you in the same.
You had been very rightly prescribed epiduo cream for pimples .
It is a very effective and commonly used medicine for your problem .
But it does cause some redness and itching and skin peeling in the initial few days of its use .
So for the time being,you should stop its application.
Apply the moisturiser that you have been prescribed .
Once the skin returns to normal ,you can restart application of the anti acne agent.
But there are certain things you need to take care off.
Apply it only at night .
Before applying the medicine ,apply a small amount of moisturiser all over the face .
Then apply little amount of the medicine only over the acne lesions .Take care to apply only a small amount and do not run the medicine .
This way the chances of developing redness or itching will be minimal .
Some amount of peeling of skin is normal with this medicine and it is infact helpful in acne healing .

but what to apply in face as a cream as its winter and which cream will be good for my pimple prone skin. Secondly i have pimples type prone acne marks and acne in my both arms. What should I do to get rid off it. Whenever I do waxing it is more visible and come out in huge numbers.
Thirdly I have dandruff problem due to which in my whole body there is white marks. I m really worried. What to do and how to get rid off it.
I am going to get married in one month. Its very important for me to get rid off all these types of skin problems.

Since you have an acne prone skin ,you can use any oil free moisturisers like neutrogena or cetaphil lotion .
As far as the scar marks over the arms are concerned ,you can use some lightening agent like kojic acid cream over the dark areas twice daily .
For the other marks ,I would like to have a look at the exact skin condition.
