i have 2 month old kid ... I have low milk supply and giving formula to my baby along with breast milk... i need guidance to increase my milk supply and eliminate formula
Brief Answer:
Following advice on increasing breast milk production
Detailed Answer:
Hi my dear,
I understand your concern.
Your baby is too young and needs help to breastfeed. I always advise my patients to breastfeed their babies as much as they can. When baby is sucking, this will promote prolactin secretion and more milk production.
Try to limit formula to giving once daily.
Diet is also important. Eat everything you like and focus more on fresh foods and vegetables, dairies, etc. That will help increase milk production.
Be conservative: when eating something, observe what reaction your baby has (drink more or less, gas or bloating, more/less often bowel movements).
Most important: Be patient.
All the best to both of you.
