Well I would like to tell you that bodys immune system is capable enough to deal with any problem so generally there is no need for supplementation . A balanced diet will be enough for it . it does not require any boosters till it is affected by some immunosupressive condition .
Still a few thing will be good for child . Yogurt contains helpful bacteria called probiotics thus prevent gut infections and sore throat . Dry fruits are super foods specially Walnuts which have healthy omega-3 fatty acids, which help your body fight illness. Fruits which are high in vitamin C, like citrus fruits, strawberries, broccoli, sweet potatoes help in preventing respiratory infections . Green vegetables like spinach has highest level of antioxidants so should be included in the diet . Seasonal vegetables and fruits should always be preffered .
