My height is 5 ft 4 inch and wt 95kg. Mine was a prematrue delivery. It was on apr 13. The was just 950 gm. So I could not breastfeed the baby directly. Now when the baby has gained the wt and can be directly feed milk is not there.
Brief Answer:
MEASURES EXPLAINED.
Detailed Answer:
First of all, reduce your weight, excessive weight gain also affects breast milk supply.
Drink atleast 5 litres of water daily.
Before breastfeeding, drink atleast 1 glass of water or buttermilk or nimbu pani.
Feed in a quiet room without stress.
If the baby is gaining weight, that means there is enough milk.
IS your baby latching well ?
Without proper latching, proper milk supply is affected.
Eat lots of methi, jeera, protein and have lots of liquids in your diet, that will help.
If you feel latching is an issue, consult your Pediatrician and Lactation Counsellor to teach you proper latching.
Feed every 2 hours atleast.
Increase night time feeds, as it increases milk supply.
Try pumping breast milk if direct feeding is an issue despite all measures.
Take care.
