Brief Answer:
CKD and phosphorus

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thanks for the query

In CKD, in order to keep the phosphorus in check it is essential to keep the following in check
1. Serum calcium
2. Vit D
3. Phosphorus

All the three are interlinked. I also strongly recommend a low phosphorous diet. The usual dietary items rich in phosphorus are chocolates, nuts, seeds, dairy products, milk ,etc. Please do not consume these products.

I give a combination of Tab Calcitriol 0.25 mg once a day along to sevelamer three times daily.
Earlier I used to use Lanthanum three times a day but it was not very effective. I recommend you to use sevelamer three times a day, you can start with 400 and go upto 1200 three times a day.

I hope I was of help, if you have any further queries please get back to me

Regards
