How To Recognize Implantation Bleeding?

Question: Hi I'm 30 yrs old and was 2.5 weeks late for my period. I've been having cramping and bloating, nausea and weight gain along with cravings and irregular sleep for the last 4 days. Today after sex I started my "period" the cramps are more localized to my ovaries as it is my uterus when it is definitively my period. I took 5 hpt over the last 2.5 weeks but all are negative...my last period was late by like 3 days but normal. The cramping I'm having makes it feel like I should be bleeding heavy but I am not. It is bright pink and light! I am so confused. If it were implantation bleeding wouldn't it coincide with my normal cycle and not be 2.5 weeks after I'm already late? I'm scheduled for a blood test on the 6th of October. Any input is appreciated
Brief Answer:
Wait for blood test
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I understand your concerns.
This could be implantation bleeding if you are pregnant. Pregnancy is possible if you had delayed ovulation. Ovulation is delayed in some women and pregnancy is possible. I suggest you wait for your scheduled blood test to confirm pregnancy.
HPT wont give positive result so soon. It takes some more time if delayed ovulation has caused pregnancy.
On other hand if you are not pregnant, you will get heavy bleeding in couple of days.
Let me know if you need anymore help.
Regards
