Could The Hypoechoic Nodules In The Wall Of Uterus Be Dangerous To My Wife's Health?

Hi Doctor
My wife age 42 weight 50 Kgs has problem of hypoechoic nodules in the wall of uretus measurin about 18.3 mm x 13.8 mm and 11.5 mm x 10.2 mm. noted in the interior wall of body of Uterus. Could it be dengerous to my wife's health ?
What we have to do now ? Please give us suggestion.

Hi,

The hypoechoic masses in wall of uterus are leiomyoma or fibroid of uterus. It is not dangerous for life. Small sized fibroids can resolve over the time, especially after menopause. Yet, large masses can cause complications like pressure symptoms. These need to be removed surgically. Please consult a gynecologist for more personal advise.
