How To Revert Changes Caused By Methamphetamine Use?
Primary psychiatric illness has to be treated.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for choosing health care magic for posting your query.
I have gone through your question in detail and I can understand what you are going through.
Methamphetamine, especially if used for long will lead to brain injury and personality changes. There is no single drug to revert all the changes caused by methamphetamine use. First the drug needs to be stopped. Then the primary psychiatric illness behind the drug use needs to be taken care of. It could be either depression or psychosis. Meth will get out of body and then the craving can be reduced by using Tab Bupropion as it will boost the dopamine in the brain. Depending on the symptom of meth withdrawal, the medications are given. Mostly its a supportive management.
Hope I am able to answer your concerns.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Modofinil is a stimulant and this needs to be used only if your grandson is having attention deficit or if he is having day time drowsiness. If so then this drug can cause wonders. However it will not be useful for methamphetamine addiction per se. The main way of getting it treated is through cognitive behavioural therpy and hypnosis. This is what the people at rehabilitation homes do.
Hope this helps
