
How To Rule Out Diabetes?

Question: Good afternoon doctor...my fasting blood sugar was 112 and my hbaic was 5.2 ,is I'm diabetic or not,if yes what I have to do?

HbA1c must be more than 6.5% and fasting glucose more than 126 mg/dl. but seeing your fasting which is now in the pre diabetic or impaired fasting range, you need to adopt lifestyle changes. Fasting glucose must be less than 110. avoid fast,junk, processed food, take more of green leafy vegetables. and fruits. do exercise, walk at least an hour day. thanks.
