Question: Good afternoon doctor...my fasting blood sugar was 112 and my hbaic was 5.2 ,is I'm diabetic or not,if yes what I have to do?

No you cannot be diagnosed as dibetic with the above results

Detailed Answer:
Dear sir, Greetings from hcm. based the above result you are not a diabetic. HbA1c must be more than 6.5% and fasting glucose more than 126 mg/dl. but seeing your fasting which is now in the pre diabetic or impaired fasting range, you need to adopt lifestyle changes. Fasting glucose must be less than 110. avoid fast,junk, processed food, take more of green leafy vegetables. and fruits. do exercise, walk at least an hour day. thanks.

Dear sir, greetings. thanks for your follow up query. yes you can surely reduce your fasting glucose level just by simple means like nutritious diet and exercise. just is a matter of 6 months. stop smoking or alcohol, prctice yoga and meditation . take more of protein rich food. also avoiding stress is the key. Thanks
