Brief Answer:
Go for Confirmatory tests .

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for query.I am Dr Bharatesh D Basti answering your query.

Rapid tests like oral tests can give false positive results. It has to be confirmed by confirmatory tests like western blot tests when doubtful. It may be costly. He can also get tested for HIV 1&2 RNA PCR.This will count viral presence.
In your case, Elisa is negative is good but can be considered confirmatory after 3 months of exposure.
Both can go for HIV RNA PCR for now.
Reconfirmation of results by western blot or HIV RNA PCR may be better.

You can get back for any clarification.

Brief Answer:
Possibility of positive results is less.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for follow up query.

We cannot be sure of odds,as the oral test was positive once.Fakse pisitive can iccur in around 5% cases. But Elisa is repeatedly negative.
So the possibility of positive results is less.
Elisa is conclusive after 3 months of exposure. Here the exposure details is not clear.

Repeating oral tests may not be so beneficial but if negative can help you to allay fears.

You please go for other investigation to allay the fears.

You can get back for any clarification.
