How To Treat Hamstring Tear In The Right Leg?

I tore my hamstring on my right leg in March 2017. I was off it for 3 weeks followed by physical therapy for 12 weeks. My flexibility and strength are almost back to normal but I have noticed a small click behind my knee on the left as you look at my knee from behind, it feels like a rubber band snapping. It is not painful but rather disconcerting. It only happens when I walk but the elliptical and the bike don't appear to bother my knee at all. Do I need further PT?
Can be due to decreased lubricants.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
The feeling of a click on the back of knee may not be related to the muscle tear that you had. This can be due to a mild decrease in the joint lubricants or a minor inflammation of the capsule. Oral lubricating agents like glucosamine sulfate and chondroitin are likely to help. Additional physiotherapy can help in strengthening the muscles and can help to some extent.
I hope this answers your query.
