IS Fasting Glucose Of 104 A Matter Of Concern?

Question: My recent blood test came back with a fasting glucose result of 104. The ideal range is 65-99. Is the 5 point overage a significant number to be overly concerned about?
Brief Answer:
Within normal range.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Nice to meet you,
No,it is of no significance, It is completely normal.
The value of fasting glucose up to 110 mg/ dl is accepted. But, an repeat fasting and post prandial (2 hours after meal) blood glucose is recommended.
If the fasting ( 70 to 110 mg/DL) and postprandial are normal (140 to 200 mg/DL) ,nothing to worry.
Try to have healthy diet and isotonic exercises to minimize the risks of getting diabetes in future days.
Hope helped you,
Take care.
