Not pregnant already
Detailed Answer:
Hello mam, thanks for trusting health care magic.
After reading all the history its sure that there is no pregnancy and the positive urine pregnancy results were due to the effect of HCG raised in previous pregnancy which ended in abortion.
Most important in confirmation of pregnancy is blood bHCG testing which in your case is 8 read as negative test.
The positive ovulation test on Monday was true positive most probably as it comes positive when urine has LH levels above 20 IU called as LH surge which eventually leads to ovulation.
LH surge appears for a small duration and wanes rapidly thus explains negative test on Tuesday and Wednesday.
I hope i have answered your questions but incase you have other questions I will be happy to help.

Also a blood test result with hcg level 8 at 9dpo was that too early to test? Should i test again or consider it a true negative
.
Too early to test, day 14 is better for testing
Detailed Answer:
Hello mam, now after reading your question with proper dates and events put in chronological order I want to give you my inferences from that
- Your test is not suggestive of pregnancy right now because levels of bHCG 8 IU are clearly negative.
- Since you did it on day 8-9 after ovulation it can be a little early a pregnancy which is not showing in bHCG so repeat the bHCG test on day 14 post ovulation.
- faintly positive urine pregnancy tests can persist after miscarriage for about 8-12 months.
- false positive urine pregnancy tests occur with a frequency of 2%.
All the best.

I will check again 14dpo. Thank you!
