Brief Answer:
Prophylaxis against Rabies

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns.
Purified chick embryo cell vaccine (Rabipur), and purified vero
cell vaccine (PVRV-Abhayrab ) are now the tissue-culture vaccines of choice.

Both of these are equally potent and dosage schedules are also same.

In case the next dose of Abhayrab is not available, equally potent Inj Rabipur can be taken. However it is advisable to continue with a particular tissue-culture vaccine to complete the schedule for balance of doses.
WHO(World health Organisation) or any other standard text of Medicine has not advocated any alternate tissue-culture vaccine, as you have suggested.
