Brief Answer:
no need to give anything

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for the query.
I can understand your concern.
But constipation is almost normal in babies.
You can try a lubricated catheter for anal stimulation.
Egnol drops or infant suppository can also be used after consulting with doctor.

Gripe water , janam ghuti or bonnison are of doubtful value, as no adequate study has been been published in allopathy.

So i would not recommend these products if baby is not comfortable with it.

Hope i helped you.

antispasmodic drops

Thanks for follow up.
You can use colimex or xymex drops for wind gas.
Also give the baby home made foods like upma, rice puree, khichdi.
More fibre and fruits should be encoureged.
Hope i answered your query.

Im sorry to be a pain but i have one last follow up question- how do introduce different foods??
Example- how many times a day do u give a 4.5 month baby solid food??
I have currently started giving her baby rice at lunch time but in confused on how to start! Sorry but im a new mum!
Can you please give me an example of a routine i could do?
Example-
early morning milk
Then at 10am what should i gjve??
Then milk for nap time
Then she wakes up for lunch i give her baby rice
Then she will play, then milk for nap again
Then she wakes up what should i give her for dinner??
Then milk for night
Sorry to ask you all this but im very confused.

What other foods can i give her? What friut is safe?
Also the other queation i have is if i give her breastmilk and now i start solids will it dry up my milk?? Because im breastfeeding what can i eat so that it can help reduce gas for her?

Also you mentioned colimex and xymex drops, do you get it over the counter here in uk? If yes how many drops do i give her and in her milk or just lije that??
Also will that help when i give her solid?
Once again aorry for this im really confused!!

Thank you

Brief Answer:
breastmilk for 6 month.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for follow upquery.
Do not get confused , you need to give exlusive breasfeeding or formula feeding for first 6 month.
Above food items which I mentioned are to be started after 6 months.

You can eat all healthy food, your diet will not affect baby much.

Breastfeeding should be every 2 to 3 hrly as well as on demand.

About colimex- DF drops I am not sure whether you will get it over the counter in UK?.

Dose depends upon weight of child, generally 5 to 8 drops 3 times a day would suffice.

Hope i helped you.
