Is Bro-Zedex Intake Safe For Treatment Of Wet Cough?
Question: Hi Doctor, this is XXXXXXX n my question is with respect to my father. Dad is 61yrs and is patient of Sugar,BP, Cholosterol and undergone bypass surgery twice with a stunt in his wals (Two). He was a regular smoker but has quit from 1-2yrs. He suffers from wet cough n keep spitting out phlegm throughout the day.
I've put him on BRO-ZEDEX*SF - Exceptorant (Sugar Free) under the guidelines of one of my friend who is a pharmaceutical person. He has advised him a dosage of 20ml twice a day (Mor & Night, AF). How safe is it for him. Can i make my dad continue with this medicine? How long can he use this? Would he cause him any side effects? I've read a couple of articles on side effects from this medicine. Request you to advise me on this ASAP...

Brief Answer:
No serious side effects
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for your query.
You can allow him to continue the syrup. There are no serious side effects other than mild gastric disturbances on long term use.
Let him not use it for more than 3 weeks at one stretch.
Hope, I answered your query.
Wish you good health.
Regards,

Thank you so much for your professional advice Sir.
Just wanted to clarify a few things on the same. As I've shared earlier, I've put him on 20ml twice a day (2 cork cups at morning and night). Dad said, "I think the syrup (BRO-ZEDEX*SF) is very strong, I feel a mild burning/warming/heated/blocked sensation in my chest as soon as I consume it and it clears closely. I'm afraid to continue this without a physicians prescription".
So, I told him to take 10ml twice (1 cork cup at morning and night) and this is his dosage as of now. What would you prefer? Please recommend the dosage he needs to take and number of times a day?

Brief Answer:
10ml is fine
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing back.
Ask him not to worry. If he is facing discomfort then it is better to reduce the dosage. As every man is unique and subjective symptoms should be considered too.
Reduce the dose to 10ml twice or trice daily based on the need.
Regards,

Thank you so very much Doctor. Can I ask you something about myself. Please guide me.
I'm XXXXXXX 32yrs. I'm interested in working out at gym n very active in it. In fact I can say that I'm addicted to my gym n its routine. I'm happy the way I'm going in exercise pattern, I push good weights n do all sort of needed stuff to build good muscles.
But, my concern is, I've a lean muscle mass n I don't see my muscles grow bigger than certain size.
I have no count of the amount of protein I've taken till date in all forms of chicken n eggs n bananas n dry fruits n carbs calculation n Calcium n vitamins everything possible.
Happy note is, I'm not bad looking, I'm absolutely fine with my height n weight ratio. But still I want to climb to the next level, like look bigger with muscles n maturity. Even though I'm 32yrs none guess me as I'm that old n the XXXXXXX the think is I'm 25yrs-28yrs.
My major concern is I have soft muscles n weak bones. I can workout hard, but, when my friends hit me for fun or pinch or press my hand hard while shaking hi/hello, I feel hurt.
Based on an Ortho specialist advice I also consumed Vit D 60k tablets (once a week) for couple of months as my Vit D count was less (below avg) in blood report.
I'm also on tablets for gaining all forms of nutrition's, below is the list:
Maxirich - Multi Vitamin - 1 in the morning
Cobedex - B12 & B6 - 1 in the morning
Codliver/SeaSeven/Seacord - Omega Acids - 2 in the morning
Liv DS 52 - Himalaya - 2 in the morning
Cipcal 500mg - Vitamin D/Calcium - 1 at night
Evion 400mg - Vitamin E - 1 at night
(Rarely Evion LZ when I have nerve catch 10 tablets instead of Evion 400mg)
Codliver/SeaSeven/Seacord - Omega Acids - 2 at night again
Liv DS 52 - Himalaya - 2 at night again
I consume protein shake after workout (morning hours) regularly for 3 months give a break n continue again, sometimes I put myself on protein shake for twice a day (late afternoon)
How long can I consume Vit D 60k tablets? Is it safe on long run?
As you know, all my tablet intake on daily routine, what would you prefer me, continue all of these for good n better health or reduce it or stop it? I'm confused, but just going on with all these as a part of my life?
As I'm into physical activity of gym and as these things are helping me with required qualities n quantities, can you help me to either arrange/reduce/change/include the intake of supplements?
Lifestyle:
Alcohol - 3 to 4 times a year (not mandatory) I'm not into any type of alcohol (none)
Smoking - 4 to 5 a day (Classic Mild & Gudang Garam - 2 of each)
Habit/Addiction: REDBULL energy drink (250ml) 2 to 3 a day, along with smoking.
Apologies, because, I know I've tested your patience for few minutes with this very long note. But, I was always willing to get a professional advice on the products I'm using n the way I'm consuming n the causes of these supplements. Please help !!!!!!
Waiting for your reply with high expectations.... Thanks in advance Sir....
