Hi,

Yes, these are safe medications after triple vessel bypass surgery. Angizem (diltiazem) is a calcium channel blocker commonly prescribed to treat angina (heart-related chest pain), high blood pressure and some types of irregular heartbeats (arrhythmia). It works to reduce the workload of the heart.

Plagril (clopidogrel) is an antiplatelet medicine ("blood thinner") that helps to prevent the formation of harmful blood clots in the blood vessels of the heart. This helps to lower the chances of you getting a heart attack or stroke. Both the above medications are considered to be safe in a patient after triple vessel bypass surgery so, continue taking them as prescribed.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
