Brief Answer:
Cataflam is a good analgesic
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear. Thanks for giving me an opportunity to address your query.
I am glad that you have chosen Cataflam(diclofenac) right pill. It's a good analgesic and definitely relieves your pain and alleviates muscle sores.
I would suggest to take this tablet twice daily after food for 3 to five days.Would also suggest local application of hot/cold bag, counter-irritant(iodex) in the injured area for a faster pain relief.
Hope this answers your query.

How can i rule out internal bleeding by symptoms only
Brief Answer:
Depends on site of bleeding
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear. Thanks for writing me back.
Internal bleeding depends on the site of bleeding.
In the absence of fracture of long bones internal bleeding is rarely seen.
If it is a retroperitoneal bleed it is difficulty to rule out.
Bleeding within the brain will result in weakness, loss of consciousness and drowsiness.
Sincerely, suggest you to watch for symptoms like weakness, dizziness, increased/pounding heart rate, increasing size of swelling(if any) and report to the emergency department without further delay.
Hope this answers your query.

The soreness is only on the back ribs and there is no swelling. Feels like my back is stiff but no brain or spinal or neck syptoms. The soreness feels similar like i had exercised too much my back and strained it . Any advice?
Brief Answer:
I would add a muscle relaxant to Cataflam
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
Thanks for writing me back.
Stiffness is due to muscle pain and spasm. I would add a muscle relaxant (Tizanidine 2mg) available as Zanaflex to Cataflam. I am not sure if tizanidine is over the counter in your country. It has to be taken twice daily along with cataflam after food for 3 days. This shall relieve muscle stiffness and there by muscle pain.
Suggest watchful monitoring for any of the symptoms/signs discussed earlier.
