my orthopaedic doctor sent me for mri scan due to spine injury and pain down right leg, halfway through mri nurse asked me if i was sure i wasnt pregnant, what might she have seen has i am not pregnant for sure, when i went back for results they just referred me to physio
hi, mri is absolutely safe in pregnancy .it is ct scan which is unsafe in pregnancy. in mri there is no radiation exposure but just a magnetic field so doesn't harm the fetus. so you rest be assured that it won't cause any harm .take care.
