Your mother is suffering from multiple level slip disc which is compressing the nerves going to the arms and legs.

This is the reason for pain and paraesthesia in the arms and legs.

There are two ways to deal with this problem.

One is Conservative management. Avoid bending forwards or lifting weights. Apply hot packs to the painful regions intermittently. Take Tablet Diclofenac with Thicolchicoside combination twice a day for 5 days after meals and Tablet Ranitidine 150mg twice a day for 5 days before meals. Do regular physiotherapy.

Try this for 2 months and if no relief, microdiscectomy out micro surgery to remove the slip disc can be done.
