Question: is cloro timetron, good for cough regards XXXXXXX benatar
Brief Answer:
Are you on any medications?
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.
I am so sorry to hear about this persistent cough.. The most common cause of persistent cough are drugs. Please, can you report to me the various medications you take? If these and no direct cause are identified, then considering medications to control this would be reviewed.
I hope to hear from you. I wish you well!

Brief Answer:
Being on Spiriva, do you have chronic bronchitis?
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for this follow up.
A drug to stop this cough is a great way to go but we must understand what the cause is in order to make helpful suggestions. That's the reason why I am asking for more information and not rushing to drugs at this time.
If you have chronic bronchitis, then we would first want to rule out any possible exacerbation. Coughing is inevitable here and helps clear the excess secretions. What we do is to prescribe a drug to facilitate this and it often gets better within weeks and return to baseline.
Let me hear from you before we continue our journey. I wish you well.
