Although the choice of medication is governed by availability, cost and many other factors following are answers to your follow up questions.
I prefer to use atomoxetine as people concerts causes growth retardation and it is never acceptable to any parent. This becomes more important in a country where average height is slightly low.
In my view it is more easily tolerated although the individual child response and tolerability varies as in other drugs.
Regarding efficacy I see more patients hyperactive subtype of ADHD and where it scores higher over concerta. In case your child have inattention type of ADHD I think atomoxetine is not a good choice for him.
Risk of suicide is the most important area which makes atomoxetine less preferable as per the literature. I have used this medication in around 1000 children and lucky to have only nil children by this day with suicidal competition and only six children with suicide ideation which eventually went away on discontinuation.
