Is Doryx Which Was Purchased A Year Back Safe To Be Consumed?
Question: Hi,
I frequently travel to XXXXXXX Therefore my doctor prescribed Doryx (Doxycycline) for me whenever i go to XXXXXXX for malaria prophylaxis. I got several boxes for each of my trips and i have been storing them in my cupboard in room temperature. Now i am leaving for XXXXXXX again. I got the doryx pills from the pharmacy a year ago but it has stayed in my cupboard and the expiration is August 2017. Are they still ok to use (safety wise, as for medication stability) then for my trip? It states on the box to keep doryx below 86 Fahrenheit which i have.
