Question: My daughter is due for her 18 months vaccination. I heard there is an Easy 6 vaccination instead if DPT,ipv and hib seperately. Could you please advise which would be better? Pls advise Pros and cons also for both?

Thank you for the reply. Could you please mention the name of vaccine so that i can purchase from medical store.

Brief Answer:
Easy 6 will be better

Detailed Answer:
Hi, welcome to HCM. Can understand your concerns.

Easy 6 vaccine contains DTwp + Hib + Hep b + Ipv. It's a combination vaccine and as a result only single intramuscular injection is required. Whereas if you go for separate vaccines then four intramuscular injection will be required. Four intramuscular injection will be painful for child.

There are no additional side effects, the only issue is four vs 1 injection.

There is no difference in efficacy of vaccine. Easy 6 vaccine is preferred vaccine then individual vaccine.

I hope this will help you.
Wishing your child good health.
Take care.

Brief Answer:
Easy 6 is the vaccine name

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome once again.

Easy 6 is the name of the vaccine. It's not available at local stores, it is supplied by authorised vaccine dealer.

Take care.
