Brief Answer:

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your response,
1st, please inform the exact sugars.Saying sugars are good or high does not help me get an idea where you stand.
When are your sugars checked post dinner- how long after dinner.
The drug voglibose causes nausea vomiting and giddiness. It can cause hypoglycemia.
Let me know the required details.

Hi
Thanks for your response.
I would suggest testing sugars after 2 hours of dinner.
Between 1 to 2 hours it will be higher side only.
So I would not suggest changing medicine as of now till you check the sugar.
You also need to control your diet. Restrict it as per your height and weight. It may actually reduce the need of medicines. Simple exercises may also help.
As for the side effects, it's been just 2 days. Usually people get accustomed to it. So wait 1 to 2 weeks before you change. It's controlling your FBS nicely.
Meeting a dietician for a suitable diet chart as per your food preference will go a long way.
Check sugars again after 1 month with lipid profile.
I have tried to make it as simple as possible. I hope that the information contained in this message will be able to help you find the best solution for your problem. Best of luck
