Brief Answer:
You need to abstain from drinking.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone carefully through your query and understand your concerns. GGT is a liver enzyme which indicates acute liver injury. This injury is being inflicted by alcohol and diabetes is aggravating it. So, if you really want to do something about it you need to restrict your drinking and on the other hand take medicines regularly to keep the diabetes in control. Limiting the alcohol will not suffice. Merely limiting would be like a punching somebody hard on the face, then some caress and rest for a couple of days, then punching him hard on the face again - it does not really show that you care. You need to give up drinking totally and GGT will start improving in 6 weeks or so.

Let me know if I could help further.

Regards
