Brief Answer:
DETAILS ARE GIVEN BELOW.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for follow up query.
1) One or two loops of cord around fetal neck is seen among few percentage of pregnancies during 2nd or 3rd trimester. It usually does not cause any problem or complication during delivery of the baby.
However, special care should be taken during delivery by healthcare attendant or nursing staff to avoid asphyxia or respiratory distress of the baby.
2) Fetal hiccups may occur anytime during pregnancy. However, it is quite common and prominent during 2nd/ 3rd trimester.
It occurs due to cord compression, reflex development, diaphragm contraction etc. You should monitor the baby’s fetal kicks so that you can report them if they continue for an inordinate amount of time. You should be relaxed and take adequate bed rest at left lateral position.
Hope, I have answered your query. Kindly, close the discussion.
All the best and good luck.
