Is Glycomet Effective At Stabilizing Sugar Level?
Question: I am taking Glycomet 2mg twice a day. My sugar level after testing is 128 before food and 186 aftr food. should i continue this medecine or will change

- Your Body Mass Index (or the present body weight and height).
- Test results like
HbA1c.
Renal Function Test including Urea, Creatinine, Electrolytes.

Considering your duration of diabetes, Fasting and post-prandial blood sugar levels you can continue current medicines.
But HbA1c value gives better idea of blood sugar control over a period of 3 to 6 months.
Also periodic screening for diabetic complications affecting eyes, kidneys, feet is also important.
