Brief Answer:
No need of hiv testing

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX

Thanks for writing to us. I can understand your concern.

Your exposure does not seem to be sufficient for Hiv transmission. Incubation period of HIV is 6 months maximum. You have already passed 8 months so current symptoms are not of hiv. These symptoms can be due to some viral infection.

No need of hiv testing. You can go to doctor for investigations and treatment. Complete blood count can be done and symptomatic treatment can be given.

Hope I have answered your query, I will be happy to help further.

Regards,
Dr Chintan Solanki.
