Is INR Of 1.4 A Cause For Concern?
Question: If my INR is 1.4 is that of real concern?

Usually people get INR's because they are on coumadin or some similar anticoagulant to keep their blood thin.
And so if you're supposed to be on coumadin for the purpose of preventing something that would require a HIGHER INR such as 2.0 or 2.5, etc. and you were only clocking in at 1.4 then, you should be a bit concerned and find out from your doctor had to boost that back up.
If on the other hand you're not intentionally trying to elevate your INR and you're showing an INR of 1.4 without even trying too much then, I would try and get to a hematologist to find out what is causing my blood to elevate its anticoagulability.
