Posted on Sat, 9 May 2015
Question: Hello!
I am 6 months pregnant and have had pain and swelling in my right foot. I went to the ER and after an ultrasound which ruled out the possibility of deep vein thrombosis, the doctor prescribed me Keflex antibiotic for cellulitis. My question is how can he be sure that it is cellulitis and is Keflex safe in pregnancy.
Thank you!
