What Causes Nausea And Abdominal Pain After Having Sex?

I had sex with my boyfriend about a week ago and he came inside of me. I am on Nuva Ring, but at the time, I was taking the antibiotic Cephalexin. I am now experiencing abdominal pains and weird tingling kind of feelings. Also some nausea. Why is this?

Hi,

Abdomen pain could be due few reasons namely you may be in ovulation period, pain due to intercourse itself. Things will usually settle down within couple of days. If pain and nausea are not subsiding, take a gynecologist consultation. Mild pain killers will help you to relieve from pain. Also have a check on your urinary symptoms. It could be due to urinary infection also.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
