Generally, Lidocaine patches should not have any affect on heart functioning or contractility so it should not worsen congestive heart failure. If you have any doubts you should ask your cardiologist, but lidocaine in patches is in a very small dosage which so it cant have a systemic effect.

Just have it in recommended dosage.
