Greetings from QatarmI have been on Nicotine patches for 3 days/quitting ciggies, and am now having fever. I wear my patches to sleep as instructed in the product box, which is affecting my sleep. Waking up at 3am or 4am..mSince i am having fever now, can i have medication for that, i.e Paracetamol? And is it ok to chew nicotine gum WHILE wearing patches.mThanks!S.
Yes, you can take paracetamol but in less dose, less than 1g per day but don't chew and patch i.e it is taken according to dose. More than 10 cigarettes per day is 21mg patch once daily for 6 weeks, then 14mg patch once daily for 2 weeks, then 7mg once daily for 2 weeks. For lifestyle modification and stress relief, techniques of 'Art of Living' i.e OMBW or P.R.A.N course will take a few weeks with medication, join it now with therapy.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
