Is Metformin Advisable When Diagnosed With PCOD?

Question: Hi,
I visited you in 2014 regarding my pregnancy planning because i had miscarriage earlier(it was blighted ovum) and you adviced me to take glycomet 850 mg for 3 months before conceiving and continue for 3 months after conceiving. Then i came to USA and followed the same and in 2015 i had my 1st baby delivered. Now i am planning for my 2nd baby so should i again start taking metformin or can i try without taking metformin course? I would have come to your clinic in ansal plaza mall but since i am in USA so its not possible for me to visit you. I am having PCOS and after delivery in feb 2015 i got my 1st period on 9th july 2016. I am getting my periods in the gap of 40-47 days. Its like sometimes in the gap of 41 days and sometimes the gap is 47 days. My height is 5'4" and my weight right now is 59kg. So i just want to know that should i take metformin first for 3 months and then plan to conceive or can i just plan to conceive without taking any medicine?
